Palak is our bright and bubbly Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Therapist. She is appreciated and loved by her patients. Palak is very passionate about dentistry and making a difference in the oral health of children and adults. She graduated from University of Melbourne in 2014 as has been working in private practice ever since. Outside of work she enjoys playing tennis and keeping fit, she also enjoys going to restaurants and taking relaxing holidays.

Dr Hassan Baleegh completed his Bachelor in Dental Surgery from Karachi, Pakistan in 2010. As a practitioner, he is very passionate about providing comfortable and reliable care to his patients. He has a keen interest in Cosmetic Restorations including veneers and Implants. His key strength is working with patients who have a fear of coming to see the dentist and training them to get over their fears and achieve their optimal desired oral health! When he is not at the clinic he enjoys cycling along the various scenic trails around Melbourne. He also plays competitive table tennis at the Diamond Valley Fitness Center. During his free time, he loves to keep himself up-to-date all things tech.

Dr. Ayesha Aijaz has always been passionate about dentistry and helping people. After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2004, she worked in Whittlesea, Bundoora and Kilmore. When she found there was a need for Dental services in Doreen, it become the perfect opportunity to realise her dream; her own practice where patients would feel it was their family clinic. Smile Works Dental opened its doors in 2011. With her warm demeanour, caring attitude and commitment to high quality dentistry, she is quite sought after, and people come to see her from far away. She also coaches other dentists for their practices and is highly respected amongst her peers. Dr. Ayesha is constantly upskilling herself and learning to help support and look after her patients. She is a member of the international association of orthodontics. She is passionate about early intervention in children for correcting facial / dental anomalies as well as educating parents on the right habits to support them long term.Dr. Ayesha has been personally trained by some of the nest cosmetic dentists and loves creating beautiful smiles. This includes veneers, smile make overs and anti-wrinkle treatment. She has recently enrolled to complete her masters in the laser and health. Her two beautiful children, a girl and a boy, love visiting her at work and interacting with staff and patients.In her spare time, she loves to travel, cook, volunteer for charity organisations and organise fund raisers. Causes she actively supports are children’s health and helping victims of domestic violence.

Dr Shammi Moopen graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2006. In the following years he gained a wide variety of experience working with adults and children, both in general dental practice and hospitals. He recently moved to Melbourne with his family.Dr Shammi has years of experience running his own private practice in England during which time he pursued his passion of helping people gain confidence in their smiles, and is experienced in all aspects of orthodontics (teeth straightening). For the past five years his practice was primarily dedicated to orthodontic treatment, helping thousands of patients of all ages to enjoy their smiles.Dr Shammi can straighten your teeth with a wide variety of appliances – fixed or removable. Fixed braces are the traditional braces which can come in white or metal. Removable appliances cover treatment with the various aligner systems like Invisalign, ClearCorrect, Inman Aligners, etc. which are very discreet and not noticeable to others when used.Whatever your need for straightening teeth, Dr Shammi has a solution for you! Simran is one of our Oral Health Therapists, who grew up locally in Plenty. Simran is passionate about oral health promotion and early intervention and prevention strategies with children.While studying at La Trobe University Simran completed parts of her hygiene components at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. This is when her passion for dentistry and travel began, Simran has been to 29 countries so far and has plans for many more. In her spare time Simran loves playing with her dog, reading and spending time with her family.
